No seriously, I really don't! However, this is my very condensed story...
I've been working within the food industry in some way since 1998. I started as a hostess/server at a few local diners and restaurants. I then chose warehouse work for years. I tried to go to school for graphic design while doing so. I eventually decided I did not want to work on a computer day in and day out. Nor did I want to work warehouse anymore. My realization finally had come. I had no love for anything I was doing. So, I cruised the internet for something new...and back to food it was.
An ad popped up and there I went. I chose to go to college for Patisserie and Baking at Le Cordon Bleu Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh, PA. I absolutely fell in love with everything I saw. I toned my skills of art and painting with my newly acquired love for baking! I worked in fast paced family owned bakeries, grocery store bakeries and kitchens throughout the years. Learning how to change things for allergies, diets and special needs. Learning. Toning. Getting the information I needed to do it on my own. Loving every minute of it all.
AND Here I am! Working from a 2nd kitchen in my home. Making pretty things, creepy things, cute and deliciously amazing things for all to enjoy!
